Crimson Films is a production and distribution company that specializes in Genre films. Headed by Writer Director Stevan Mena and Producer/Actor Vincent Butta, Crimson Films is strategically positioned to provide exciting quality entertainment on a wide scale to all types of audiences.

Stevan mena

Stevan made his debut with the smash indy film Malevolence, distributed in theaters and on dvd. The film went on to become a cult classic, and Stevan immediately began work on the sequel. In between, Stevan catalogued his experiences in the horror film genre with the hilarious comedy, Brutal Massacre. Starring a who's who of horror genre vets, such as David (American Werewolf) Naughton, Ken (Dawn of the Dead) Foree, Ellen (Evil Dead) Sandweisse, Gerry (Forty Year Old Virgin) Bednob, Gunnar (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) Hansen, and Brian (Clerks) O'halloran, Brutal Massacre went on to become a hit with horror and comedy fans alike.

After crossing genres, Stevan returns with his latest horror epic, Bereavement, a sequel to Malevolence, which will bring audiences to the brink of madness with it's terrifying imagery and haunting storyline. Bereavement will debut in theaters in early 2011.

Vincent butta

Vincent is the executive producer of Brutal Massacre and Bereavement. Vince brings his extensive management and marketing experience to Crimson Films. The goal is simple, make Crimson Films one of the top producers and distributors of mainstream genre entertainment in the U.S.

Vincent is also an established actor, with many credit roles including the lead in Brutal Massacre a Comedy. Vince has received rave reviews for his stealthy and deadpan portrayal of Bert Campbell, a documentary filmmaker following Harry Penderecki on his latest attempt to reclaim his title of greatest horror director in the world.
